Turkey Bingo — Friday, Nov. 21, 6 p.m. at Saint Patrick Parish’s social hall, 1058 West 400 South, SLC. Hosted by the Saint Patrick Parish youth group. Cards are $4 each and are good for all 16 games. Each game is a chance to win a turkey. Games begin at 7 p.m.

Advent Vespers Procession — Sunday, Nov. 30, at 5 p.m. at the Cathedral of the Madeleine, 309 E. South Temple, SLC. The choir will move and perform from the darkness of the Cathedral’s west transept through the nave to the lighted east transept. Music of Palestrina, Ord and Manz will be performed. Free and open to the public.

Children’s Nutcracker Ballet — Friday, Dec. 5, 7:30 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 6 at 2 p.m and 7:30 p.m. at Juan Diego Catholic High School, 11800 South 300 East, SLC. Tickets $12 for adults and $8 for children, students & seniors. A portion of the proceeds will go toward the school.

Diocesan Advent Retreat — Saturday, Dec. 6, English session, 9 a.m.-noon and Spanish session 12:30-3:30 p.m. at Saint John the Baptist Parish, 11800 South 300 East, Draper. The retreat, given by Father Christopher Gray, will focus on Advent as a time to prepare for the coming of Christ in the fullness of time. Registration fee is $5 by Dec. 2; $8 at the door.
