St. Patrick’s Day Mass and Dinner — Sunday, March 15, sponsored by the Hibernian Society. A Mass in honor of St. Patrick will be held at 5 p.m.; from 4-8 p.m. the annual corned beef and cabbage dinner will be served at Saint Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, 7405 S. Redwood Road, West Jordan. Cost is $12 for adults and $8 for children.

A special 40-hour period of prayer made before the Blessed Sacrament in solemn exposition with a special emphasis for vocations is underway in the Diocese of Salt Lake City. Each parish in the diocese has been scheduled for a week of this devotion. The week of March 7-14 the devotion is at Saints Peter and Paul Parish, 3560 West 3650 South, West Valley City. Exposition will be open to the public Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.; for other times, contact the parish.
