The Catholic Church and the Death Penalty — Monday, April 16, 7 p.m. at St. Catherine of Siena Newman Center, 170 University St., SLC. Fr. John Norman, pastor of St. Vincent de Paul Parish, will share the Catholic Church’s teaching about the death penalty. A discussion will follow.

The 8th Annual St. Mary Men’s Retreat — is open to all men in the Diocese of Salt Lake City.  The retreat, Aug. 10-12 in Bloomington, Idaho, will focus on the book “7 Secrets of Confession.” It will be bilingual English/Spanish.
