Family Game Night — Friday, Nov. 17, 6 p.m. in the Blessed Sacrament parish center. This month’s theme is Thanksgiving; the prize for the 12th game will be a 20-pound turkey, donated by Snyder Bros. Meats. Doors open at 6 p.m. for the dinner; games begin at 6:30 p.m. Adults: $14, 12 and under: $10; family pass (two adults and up to five kids): $50.

Pastoral Center Closed — The Diocese of Salt Lake City Pastoral Center will be closed from noon on Wednesday, Nov. 22 through Friday, Nov. 24 for the Thanksgiving holiday. The Pastoral Center will reopen Monday, Nov. 27 at 8:30 a.m.

Mass at Alta — Weekly Mass begins at Our Lady of the Snows Chapel in Alta on Sunday, Nov. 26 and will continue through the ski season. Mass is at 5 p.m. in the chapel, located directly across the street from the Alta Lodge, next to the Shallow Shaft restaurant. Mass on Christmas Day and Easter Day will be at 10 a.m. There will be no Christmas Eve Mass this year.

Diocesan Advent Retreat — Saturday, Dec. 2 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 300 East 11800 South, Draper. The English session will be 9-11:30 a.m., followed by a bilingual liturgy at 11:30 a.m..-12:30 p.m. The Spanish session will follow from 12:30 to 3 p.m. The presenter for the English session will be Fr. Joseph Delka, parochial vicar of St. Joseph Parish, Ogden. The presenter for the Spanish session will be Fr. Christopher Gray, parochial vicar of the Cathedral of the Madeleine. Help Needed — Saint Joseph’s Villa, 451 Bishop Federal Lane, SLC, is in need of volunteers and liturgical musicians (volunteers) for the 11:30 a.m. Sunday Mass, particularly on the second and fourth week of each month. Volunteers help residents to and from their rooms to attend Mass. Ushers, lectors and Extraordinary Ministers of the Holy Eucharist also are needed. For information, contact Fr. Play Rescheduled
The Juan Diego Catholic High School Drama Department’s production of “Godspell” has been postponed. New production dates are March 15-18, 2018. As of now, all distributed tickets will be valid for the new dates.
