ogden — Arthur Clovis Vialpando passed away on August 28, 2015. He was 56.
Vialpando was born to Clovis and Patricia Vialpando on Feb. 26, 1959.  Being a man of a “few words” he listened more than he spoke, however, he spoke volumes with his heart and soul by welcoming family and friends into his home, to anyone who needed a place to stay, a bite to eat, a cold drink or a car mechanic. A Bronco fan, Vialpando supported the team whether the Broncos were winning or losing, just one sign of how he was more than a “fair-weather” fan or friend. He was a quiet, gentle, peaceful, humble soul who made room for you.
In addition to having a big heart, Vialpando was a mechanic and handy man who offered his skills wherever needed, on the job or on the home front.
He is survived by his mother, Patricia Vialpando;  father, Clovis Vialpando;  stepmother, Helen Vialpando; girlfriend, Naomi Halcomb;  brother, Ken Vialpando;  stepbrothers, Mike Griego and Bill Griego; stepsister, Gayla Griego; son, Tyler Vialpando;  grandson, Haden Baker; and many uncles, aunts and cousins.
The family requests in lieu of flowers that a donation be made in his name to the Huntsman Cancer Institute.
