Many thanks to all those who helped our dear Carmelite sisters in another successful fair! There was a wonderful spirit as the regular volunteers, joined by the Knights of Columbus, pulled off another successful event. There were those who ran 5K (some walked!) and many, many others who ran booths and collected prizes in order to raise money for our wonderful sisters. This is the main fundraiser that provides the bulk of the funding that sustains our sisters throughout the year. If you were not able to attend the fair this year, I encourage you to drop the sisters a line and perhaps include a donation to them that will enable them to continue their vital and important ministry of prayer in our midst. In such a busy and noisy world, it is good to know that our sisters are praying for us day in and day out from the quiet halls of their monastery. Only God knows the good they have done for all of us in their long history here and in what they continue to do for us for what we pray will be a long time to come.
