The Intermountain Catholic received three 2016 Catholic Press Awards during the June 3 banquet in St. Louis hosted by the Catholic Press Association of the United States and Canada. The Intermountain Catholic team of Christine Young, associate editor; Gary Topping, “From the Archives” columnist; and editor Marie Mischel placed second in the Best Coverage of the Year of Consecrated Life category. In addition, Mischel took third place for best regular column in the spiritual life category, and honorable mention in the best feature writing category.  They are shown with Msgr. Colin F.
