Coats for Kids

Knights of Columbus Council #11246 collected 355 coats and $659.16 for their 2014 Coats for Kids drive for Cedar City and the surrounding area, an increase of 100 garments and $200 more than they gathered in 2013, which was their first year for the project. They ordered 24 coats through the international Knights of Columbus office in Connecticut. These were sent promptly, and the local Knights were able to beat the cold weather and distribute the coats to children and make them happy and  warm in the early part of the coat drive. The local Church of Latter-day Saints stake centers collected 80 coats for the drive.
