December 11, 1938 ~ March 9, 2018

Daniel A. Reagan, LCDR, USN ret., was born December 11, 1938 in Cleveland, Ohio to Adelbert and Mildred Reagan and passed away on March 9, 2018.

Dan spent his childhood in Norwalk, Ohio and graduated from the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy in Kings Point, N.Y. He served his country proudly and faithfully in the U.S. Navy, earning the rank of lieutenant commander.

He met the love of his life, Gorman Little, and they wed on August 5, 1961 in Great Neck, N.Y., enjoying 56 years happily married. Together they have four children, Colleen (Chris) Hoyt, Michael (Ronda), Richard (Lori) and Christopher Reagan, and later welcomed four grandchildren – Sam Hoyt and Hayley, Madeline and Katie Reagan.

Dan is survived by his wife, children and grandchildren, sister Mariclare Reagan Klein, and brother William Reagan.

We will miss Dan, a great listener, patriot, gentleman, teller of corny jokes, and bearer of unconditional love, who celebrated others’ achievements above his own.

The family wishes to thank the caring staff of the William E. Christoffersen Veterans Home and Brighton Hospice for their kindness.

A funeral Mass was celebrated March 24 at St. Ambrose Catholic Church.
