Equestrian Order gathers

The Conferral of Promotions Mass and the Rite of Solemn Investiture Mass was celebrated Oct. 1-2 at the Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem’s Annual Meeting in Tucson, Ariz. Grand Master Cardinal Edwin O’Brien was in attendance; the new Grand Prior, Jose H. Gomez, Archbishop of Los Angeles, was installed. Also attending were many bishops, priests, deacons and 480 Knights and Ladies, who traveled from all areas of the Western Lieutenancy to celebrate the good works of the Order in fellowship and prayer. The following members were promoted: Sir Gary Young, KCHS; Sir Paul Hitzelberger, KCHS; and Lady Jane Hitzelberger, KCHS. New investees were welcomed: Deacon Sir Forrest Gray, KHS; Lady Maria Cruz Gray, LHS; Lady Loretta Miller, LHS; and Lady Susan Northway, LHS.
