January 10, 1953 ~ February 2, 2018
Our beloved “Ernie” transitioned from this life into eternal life on February 2, 2018, after a long battle with his health.
Ernie will be fondly remembered as a long-time Atlanta Braves baseball fan. He enjoyed the movie “The Sandlot,” which happened to be filmed down the street from the house he called home. “A little piece of paradise. A half-block wide and a whole season long.”- The Sandlot
Ernie will also be remembered for his casual sense of humor and rebellious spirit.
Ernie is survived by his son Bobby Trujillo; sister Betty Ann T. Maestas; brothers Adolph Trujillo and the Reverend Fr. David Trujillo; and his many nephews and nieces.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Elaine T. Gomez, and both parents, Manuelita and Adolph Trujillo.
A memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 8892 West State Highway, Copperton.
