SALT LAKE CITY — Eva Frances Tomlinovich Blockovich, 86, died July 4, with her husband of 62 years at her bedside. She was a member of Saint Vincent de Paul Parish. Blockovich was born Feb. 16, 1923, in Park City, to Frances Saric Tomlinovich and Mark Tomlinovich. She graduated from Park City High School. She attended Stevens-Heneger Business College. She worked as an executive secretary for Mountain Bell Telephone Company for almost 40 years. She was a member of the Catholic Woman’s League and a member of the Catholic Women’s Bowling League. She married Matt Blockovich Nov. 20, 1947, at Saint Mary Catholic Church in Park City. They made their home in Salt Lake City, all but three years when they lived in Winston-Salem, N.C. She is survived by her husband, Matt; son, Mark, Kirtland, N.M.; granddaughter, Heather Blockovich, Omaha, Neb.; grandson, Matthew, Evanston, Wyo.; brother Msgr. George Davich (Ret.), Palm Springs, Calif.; sister, Katherine (Emil) Ballen, Denver, Colo.; and several nieces and nephews. A Mass of the Resurrection was celebrated at Saint Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. Internment was in Mount Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
