Days of Yore Festival — June 6, 5-10 p.m.; June 7, 10 a.m.-10 p.m.; June 8, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 3015 E. Creek Road, Cottonwood Heights. St. Patrick Carnival — Aug. 1, 5-10 p.m.; Aug. 2,  2-10 p.m. at Saint Patrick Catholic Church, 1058 West 400 South, SLC. Enjoy ethnic food, games, prizes and live entertainment. 

Italian Festival at St. Ambrose — Aug. 15-16 at St. Ambrose Parish, 1975 South 2300 East, SLC. Ferragosto! Food, beverages, desserts, arts, music and entertainment, and a bocce ball tournament. Ferragosto is a way to mark the traditional month-long Italian holiday to commemorate the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary on Aug. 15. Blessed Sacrament Fall Festival — Aug. 22-24 at Blessed Sacrament Parish, 9757 South 1700 East, Sandy. 5K walk/run, entertainment, carnival rides, refreshments, 3-on-3 basketball tournament, cooking contests for adults and kids, margarita contest, pinewood derby contest and The Living Planet Aquarium will present an educational segment.
