Alameda, CALIF. — Gavina Mary Archuleta, 82, passed away Aug. 18, 2012.

Archuleta was born in Dixon, N.M. Jan. 6, 1930. She married Fred in 1951.

Archuleta is survived by her children Becky (Rick) Wade, Susie, Arlene and Bobby (Angie) Archuleta, Teresa (Karl) Leabo, and Tina (Julio) Jimenez; 21 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren and one sister.

Archuleta was preceded in death by her husband, Fred E. Archuleta; son Gene Archuleta; granddaughter Edwina Martinez; parents Guillermo and Gertrude Medina; three brothers and two sisters.

A funeral Mass was celebrated at the Cathedral of the Madeleine.
