Bishop of Salt Lake City

Every year Monsignor Fitzgerald and I have the privilege of celebrating the Baccalaureate Mass for each of our three high schools and of presiding at their respective graduations. This year, I had all three graduations and Monsignor took the Masses. We were both very impressed and edified at the high caliber of the graduates and their splendid accomplishments. All three schools can boast of millions of dollars in scholarships awarded, thousands of service hours and young men and women who are graduating with a true appreciation for our Catholic faith.

I admire the faculties, administrations and staffs at our high schools who work tirelessly to provide quality Catholic education to our young people. Not only do our students receive an education that is second to none, but they also find exceptional role models in their schools who live their faith as they personify the values that we hold dear. I know that my readers join me in thanking all these dedicated men and women who staff our high schools. And to all the graduates, “May God bless you and keep you safe always!
