Mrs. Illa Wright, along with Carol Dillingham, Matthew Bedell, Michael Singletary, Noah Vera and Minerva Huetra came to see me in April to discuss their laudable efforts in serving the various jails in our diocese. These dedicated ministers give much of their time to visit the imprisoned in order to bring them the hope and encouragement of Christ. It is a necessary and sometimes difficult ministry but these fine lay leaders are up to the challenge. Please keep their work in your prayers and also remember to pray for those who are incarcerated that they may be restored one day to society as productive and happy citizens.
