ROOSEVELT — Jesse Daniel Shields, 25, of Roosevelt, was killed Feb. 20, 2015, in an automobile accident.

Shields was born June 27, 1989, in Heber City, to Daniel and Teresa Slagle Shields. He worked as a truck driver in the oil field, a long-haul driver and an artist. 

Shields is survived by his parents, Danny and Teresa Shields; brother Joseph (Kortnie) Shields; sister Andi Adele Shields; grandfather Joseph (Carol) Shields; uncle Howard Slagle; nieces; and many other aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Shields was preceded in death by his grandmother, Adele Lamb Shields; Virginia Slagle Addley; Walter Slagle; Dar Addley, and good friend Casey Beath.

A funeral Mass was celebrated at Saint Helen Catholic Church.
