Joe Salazar, 64, died on May 13, 2018 in Los Angeles, Calif. He was the beloved husband of Agueda Salazar and father to Joe, Will (Carolina), Carlos (Frances), and José Pedro. He had three grandchildren.

He is survived by his mother, Isabel Salazar de Alaniz; and his siblings Arturo Salazar (Socorro), José E. Salazar (Saria), Miguel Salazar (Kim), and Sandra Maxwell (Chris). He was preceded in death by his sister, Irma Isela Salazar.  

Joe was born in Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico.

A funeral Mass was celebrated May 25, 2018 at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Maywood, Calif. Rose Hills Memorial Park & Mortuary was in charge of the services.
