Joel was born in Butte, Montana on April 12, 1967 and passed away on November 26, 2023 in San Diego, California.

Joel is survived by his parents Joel P. and Junie Barry, sisters Micheon Zbinden (Larry) and Shannen Rosser (Billy), nephew Larry Zbinden (Megan), nieces Devyn Zbinden Nelson (Tanner) and Sullivan G. Rosser. He is also survived by his great-nephew Larry Zbinden, IV and Soul Brother Frank Garcia, aunts, uncles and many loving cousins and friends.

Joel was a beautiful soul who brought sunshine and love to each person he encountered. His personality was vibrant, humorous and engaging.

Although the ones he left behind will always treasure the special gift of having known him, Elizabeth Rosser, his niece and all of the angels in heaven will now be blessed to have Joel among them!

May he rest in peace with the Lord and all who have preceded him in death.

Joel was a former parishioner of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Orem. There will be a Celebration of Life for Joel at a later date.
