Knights of Columbus 'Dine to donate'

The Knights of Columbus held a fundraiser on June 15 to benefit the Special Olympics at the Texas Roadhouse in Taylorsville. David Matyjasik, state chairman of the Knights of Columbus, teamed up with his fellow Knights and Special Olympic athletes to raise awareness of people with disabilities. Athletes included Scott Bonn, Saint Olaf parishioner and Fourth Degree Knight; and Donna Gunn, from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and representative for the Special Olympics. Over $600 was raised, which is enough to pay for two and a half athletes to participate in Special Olympics events for an entire year.
