SALT LAKE CITY — Lorenzo Martinez passed away May 4, 2012.

Martinez was born April 2, 1925 in El Rito, N.M. to Frailan and Esther Alires Martinez.

Martinez is survived by brother Jose E. Martinez; sisters Josephine Arroyo, Andy Martinez, Adelita Manzanares, Lita Quismundo and many nieces, nephews and great-grand nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and two sisters.

A funeral Mass was celebrated at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
