SALT LAKE CITY — Lorraine (Lane) Conner, 90, passed away Aug. 11, 2012.

Conner was born on Feb. 24, 1922 in Fresno, Calif. to Velma and Clarence Metz. She married Gil Conner. She was a "Pink Lady" at Pioneer Valley Hospital and volunteered many hours of service. She was also a member of the Catholic Church.

Conner is survived by four children: Kathy (Mark) McLaren, Barry (Colleen), Nancy (Warren) Conner-Diven, and Tom (Susie); six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brother Keith; and sister-in-law Shirley Conner

She was preceded in death by her husband.

A memorial celebration of Lane’s life is to take place at a later date in San Diego, Calif.
