SALT LAKE CITY — Marcia Jane Philibin, 90, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Sept. 25, 2011.

Philibin was born April 29, 1921 in Billings, Mont. to Charles and Era Wade. She married Thomas Francis Philibin June 16, 1945 at Our Lady of Lourdes Chapel in Salt Lake City, Utah. She graduated from Judge Memorial Catholic High School at the young age of 16. She attended the University of Utah and then completed her education in Southern California.

Philibin is survived by her daughters Marcia Lynne Farrimond, Mary Anne Fehr, and her son Tom Wade (Melody) Philibin; grandchildren Natalie Anne Cook, Thomas John Philibin, and Megan Anne Philibin; great-grandchildren Hailey Grace Cook and Cooper John Thomas Cook.

Philibin was preceded in death by her best friend and husband, Thomas Francis Philibin, now reunited eternally.

A funeral Mass was celebrated at Saint Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.
