PRICE — Martha Moreno King, died March 7, 2016 at her home in Price at the age of 77.
Martha was born May 3, 1938 in Durango, Colo., to Trinidad and Carmen Romero Moreno. She married her sweetheart, Thomas L. King, Aug. 1, 1964 at Notre Dame de Lourdes Catholic Church in Price.
Martha was a devout member of the Catholic Church who loved going to church. She also loved visiting about as much as she loved shopping. Martha was one of the most loving and caring individuals that anyone met. Her warmth, generosity and contagious smile brought comfort to every situation.  
She graduated from Carbon High School in 1957 and later from beauty school in Salt Lake City. For years, Martha worked as a hair stylist at Neat Barber Shop and Image of Beauty in Price, where she was blessed with many lifelong friends. 
Martha was always concerned for the well-being of others; her granddaughters meant the world to her. She supported her family in all their endeavors; the only mistake she made was buying her guys their first set of golf clubs. She was incredibly proud of her family and their accomplishments. Martha opened her heart to everyone and her family did likewise. She was blessed with a multitude of friends; her memory will be cherished forever.
In memory of Martha, the family suggests donations to a charity of choice.
Martha is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Thomas L. King, Price; her beloved son, Thomas C. (Rebecca C.) King; granddaughters Samantha C. King and Kellee A. King, all of Wellington; sister Dolores (Ross) Marquez, of Colorado; brother Jim Moreno, Salt Lake City; brother-in-law Herman Nava, Price; and many loving nieces, nephews, and a community of friends and neighbors.
She was preceded in death by her parents, in-laws Thomas C. and Angelina O. King, and sister Pauline Nava.
A funeral Mass was celebrated at Notre Dame de Lourdes Catholic Church.
