Meli passed away peacefully on April 15, 2017. She was born April 1, 1921 in Mexico. She loved bull-fighting, music and dancing, and spending time with friends.
She is survived by three sons, five grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Alvin Jorgensen.
A memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, April 29 at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. She will be laid to rest next to her husband at Utah Veterans Memorial Park.
