Men invited to start new year with religious retreat

The 2017 Saint Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church’s Men’s Retreat will take place on Friday, Jan. 6-7. 

The retreat theme is “How We Want to Approach 2017.

Participants will meet Jan. 6 at 5 p.m. at the Hospitality House, East 2610 Aspen Springs North Drive in Park City; the retreat will continue through the evening of Jan. 7. 

The weekend will be a time of prayer and reflection. The men will pray the Liturgy of the Hours under the direction of Father Patrick Carley, retired, and reflect on the kind of men they want to be in the face of the new year.

There is no cost for the retreat, but each man will pay for his own dinner.
