Neil David Stack

SALT LAKE CITY — Neil David Stack, 67, passed away Dec. 27, 2014. 

Stack was born Oct. 21, 1947 in Great Falls, Mont. to Harold and Maybelle (Bury) Stack. He graduated from Montana State University with a degree in civil engineering. He married Terry Crowley on May 29, 1971. He held various positions within the Public Works Department and retired in March of 2010 as the division director of Salt Lake County’s Public Works Engineering. He was very active at Saint Thomas More Catholic Church. 

Stack is survived by his wife of 43 years, Terry Stack; sons Ryan and Tyler; a grandson; a granddaughter; and brothers Dennis (Karol) and Jon. 

Stack was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Tom. 

A funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Thomas More Catholic Church.
