Neophyte Mass

            I enjoyed the annual Mass for Neophytes this past April at the Cathedral of the Madeleine. Many from all over the diocese were able to attend this special Mass, where we encourage those newly baptized and received into the Church as they enter fully into the life of the Church. Many of the RCIA directors were also present as were quite a few sponsors and godparents. It is always a shot in the arm to witness the enthusiastic faith of those who have been initiated into the Church. Such meetings remind me to thank God for the gift of faith that continues to grow in me and in all of us. May the Holy Spirit guide us all as we journey together toward the fullness of the Kingdom.
