Nina Marie Shortino

Nina Marie Shortino passed away peacefully at home on April 7, 2018. She was born December 28, 1925 in Silver City, Utah to Arthur E. and Nina Mae Searle Westover.  Marie married Joseph Lee Shortino. After Joe passed away in 1964, she worked in fine jewelry at Mervyn’s Department Store and dedicated her life to raising her children and grandchildren and taking care of her mother.

Marie is survived by her daughter, Cathy Shortino Biljanic; son, Michael (Donalyn) Shortino; brother, Art Westover; seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe, and son, Dennis Shortino.

A funeral Mass was celebrated April 13, 2018 at Saint Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.

Services were in care of Neil O’Donnell and Sons.
