St. Ambrose parishioner Pam Joklik was one of 78 local artists featured in the 18th annual Zions Bank Art Show, held Nov. 5 at the bank’s head office, 1 Main St. in Salt Lake City. Joklik, also a Catholic Foundation of Utah board member, has been painting most of her life, she said. She prefers oils as a medium; her subjects are usually landscapes en plein air style. “I like to try to capture the scene the way it strikes me down on canvas, and then you’ve got it forever,” she said.
