Youth Making a Difference! Jeff Dahdah, a parishioner from Saint Vincent de Paul Church and a senior honor student at East High School, will be taking a humanitarian trip to the Phillipines, where he will assisting with educational, medical and building facilities for the children in that area.

Taking the Hit Together! Ryan McCauley and Jared McCauley, twin brothers who are seniors at Juan Diego CHS and defensive tacklers, each signed a letter of intent to play football at Carol College, where they were awarded academic and athletic scholarships.

Bengal Pride! Kaitlin Flynn, a senior at Juan Diego CHS, signed a letter of intent to attend Idaho State University with a full-ride scholarship to play on their soccer team.

Smart Shot! Kyra McComas, a senior at Judge Memorial CHS, has been named to the Utah High School Activities Association winter sports Academic All-State team in girls’ basketball.

Overseas Play! Emily Bruder, a junior at Juan Diego CHS, was named to the U-17 United States soccer team and will play in Germany this month.

Boardercross Champ! Hunter Wilson, senior at Juan Diego CHS, recently competed at USASA INTERMOUNTAIN Championship in Sun Valley where he won both of his races. This qualifies him for "Nationals" in Copper Mountain.

Newly Appointed! Msgr. Edward J. Weisenburger, vicar general of the Archdiocese of Oklahoma City, was named to head the Diocese of Salina, Kan. by Pope Benedict XVI.
