Debating the Issues! Juan Diego CHS’ debate team competed at Cyprus High School earning second place in debate sweeps, fourth in IE sweeps, and second overall sweeps. Nicole Blaber and Gabe Lewis won first in open policy; Alexis Womble won third in open Lincoln-Douglas debate; Maddie Caldwell won second in both oratory and impromptu; Ryan Boekholder won fourth in open congress; and Kevin Hemmersmeier won third in novice congress.
Appointed! Father Andrew Cozzens, associate professor at St. Paul Seminary School of Divinity in St. Paul, Minn., was named by Pope Francis auxiliary bishop of the Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis.
