SALT LAKE CITY — Patricia Louise Maney Tresbesch, 72, died March 22, at her home after a short battle with cancer. Trebesch was born April 19, 1936, in Grand Rapids, Minn., to Emma Louis and Patrick Maney. The oldest of five, she grew up in northern Minnesota on the "Iron Range" with her two sisters, Irene Maney Draxton and Mary Ellen Maney Atkins and two brothers Jim and Dan Maney. She graduated from Coleraine High School in 1954, and Itasca Junior College and Bemidji State College with a degree in teaching. She loved children and upon graduating from college, she spent seven years teaching first and second grade. Tresbesch married her college sweetheart Jerry Trebesch on Dec. 27, 1958. Her greatest joys in life came each time one of her grandchildren was born. She was thrilled to have five beautiful grandchildren to spend time with and spoil. She is survived by her husband Jerry; son Tim and his wife Elizabeth; grandchildren, Kirsten and Aidan; daughter Kate and her husband Bill; grandchildren Will, Jake and Ben; sister Mary; and brother Jim; as well as many beloved friends and extended family members. A funeral Mass was celebrated at Saint Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.
