Priest retirement celebrations

Three Diocese of Salt Lake City priests will retire in August: Msgr. Robert Servatius, Fr. Hernando Diaz and Fr. Patrick Carley.

The retirement Mass and celebration for Msgr. Servatius will be Sunday, June 26, 5-8 p.m. at Blessed Sacrament Parish, 9800 South 1700 East, Sandy. The celebratory Mass will begin at 5 p.m. Refreshments will follow in the gymnasium. All are invited. 

The retirement celebration for Fr. Carley will be June 5, starting with an outdoor Mass at 11:30 a.m. at St. Joseph the Worker Parish, 7405 S. Redwood Road, South Jordan. All his friends from the many parishes he has served are invited. For information or to RSVP, email office@sjtwchurch.org. 

Plans are pending for a retirement celebration for Fr. Diaz. The Intermountain Catholic will publish the information when it is available.
