Rae Kloepfer

HELPER — Regina “Rae” Kloepfer, 102, died Aug. 26, 2014. 

Kloepfer was born in Omaha, Neb. to Peter and Julia Borsik on Oct. 22, 1911. She married William Kloepfer on July 26, 1930 at Saint Alphonsus Church in Chicago, Ill. She was a longtime member of Saint Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. She was past president of the Altar Society for St. Anthony Parish, past president of the Saint Pius X Parish Altar Society in Moab, belonged to the Diocesan Council of Catholic Women and the Ladies Auxiliary of the Knights of Columbus.  

Kloepfer is survived by her children, Matt (Betty Jo) Kloepfer and Karen (Leroy) Uncles; seven grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren and 22 great-great-grandchildren. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister Katherine Demman;  brothers Phil Borsik, Paul Borsik and Mark Borsik; grandson George William Simons; and granddaughter Cathy Dimick. 

A funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church.
