Dustin Pollock is baptized by Father Clarence Sandoval on June 27 at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Layton. Pollock’s baptism originally was scheduled for Easter at the Cathedral of the Madeleine, but had to be postponed due to pandemic conditions. Now, having been baptized, “It feels amazing to be able to partake in the Eucharist,” Pollock said. “Feeling like I am really a part of the Church is also amazing. I just want to just immerse myself in the Church. Come January, I guess we will see.” Pollack has been asked to be a member of his parish’s RCIA team when instruction resumes in January.
