BOUNTIFUL — Youth from Saint Olaf School gather each month to participate in fun, spiritual and volunteer activities. Through a new commitment to involve youth, students have the opportunity to associate with other young people of the community, making new friends while having fun. A "Pizza and Games" event held in August kicked off the Youth Group activities. During the school and parish Oktoberfest held Sept. 29, volunteers helped create, organize and staff children’s games. A scary haunted house lured the students in October. Under the leadership of Sarah Hovanec, making tie blankets, writing letters to members of the Armed Forces, planning youth Masses and participating in snow activities are a few of the events planned. For future months, the parish community has actively offered its support both financially and physically.
