The week before last I attended a Board of Trustees Meeting at St. Patrick Seminary & University in Menlo Park, Calif. Archbishop George Niederauer isChairman of the Board and he led a fine meeting, with his usual kindness, humor and wisdom. I am very impressed with the program at St. Patrick Seminary and am pleased that our diocese has used this seminary over the years. Several of our priests graduated from St. Patrick, including me. We also use Mt. Angel Seminary in St. Benedict, Ore., and the North American College in Rome, where we also have seminarians participating in superb formation programs. Please keep our seminarians in your prayers as they move toward their ordination for priestly service in our diocese.
