Visiting Bishops Concelebrate Mass

Villegas of the Archdiocese of Lingayen-Dagupan in Pangasinan, Philippines and president of the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of the Philippines; and Bishop Victor Emilio Masalles Pere of the Diocese of Baní, Dominican Republic before the beginning of the Oct. 1 Spanish Mass at the Cathedral of the Madeleine. The three visiting bishops were all scheduled to speak at Brigham Young University’s annual International Law and Religion Symposium Oct. 1-3. Also among the scheduled presenters were Juan G. Navarro Floria, Professor of Law at the Pontificia Universidad Catòlica Argentina, and Pablito A. Baybado, Jr., associate professor at the Institute of Religion and researcher for the Center for Religious Studies and Ethics at the University of Santo Tomas, Manila, Philippines.
