On Feb. 7, Saint Olaf Catholic Church in Bountiful celebrated Scout Sunday. Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts and several adult Scouters attended Mass and performed numerous duties as part of their “Duty to God” obligations, including serving as lector, altar servers and ushers.

The Catholic Woman’s League presidents have been inspired by the president who reigned before them; perhaps Emma McCornick Bird, the first president, started this trend when the organization began in 1916. They have tried to continue and extend the mission of the league.
