Heading toward priesthood

José A. Camberos, a seminarian for the Diocese of Salt Lake City, received the Ministry of Candidacy at the Chapel of St. Patrick’s Seminary, Menlo Park, Calif., by the Most Reverend Patrick J. McGrath, Bishop of San Jose, on Nov. 10. Camberos, in his third year of theology at St. Patrick Seminary, is preparing for his ordination to the transitional diaconate. Last year, he completed  the Clinical Pastoral Education program, which is training to become a chaplain for people in hospitals, nursing homes, prisons and hospices.  Courtesy photo
