OGDEN — Orando y dando las gracias la comunidad de la parroquia de St. Joseph en Ogden se reunieron el 3 de octubre para la dedicación de su nuevo centro educativo, el cual fue bendecido por el Administrador Diocesano, Colin F. Bircumshaw,  quien cuando fue párroco de esa iglesia se encargó de la compra del edificio que previamente estaba en el sitio. >>>

La festividad de San Francisco de Asís e celebra el 4 de octubre, típicamente este día reflexionamos sobre el llamado Católico al cuidado de la creación. Este año también fue el Domingo e Respeto por la Vida, en donde se comienza una campaña que dura  año para apoyar la dignidad y santidad de la vida. La clara conexión entre  estos dos componentes de nuestra fe recientemente fue fuertemente ilustrada gracias a la generosidad y el gran trabajo de los CRS, el cual es una organización humanitaria internacional de la Conferencia de los Obispos Católicos de los Estados Unidos.  >>>

Among the many Utahns who encountered Pope Francis during his visit to the United States were Senator Orrin Hatch and the Right Rev. Scott Hayashi, Bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Utah, both of whom saw the Holy Father in Washington, D.C. 
In the Diocese of Salt Lake City, many Catholics watched live broadcasts of the pontiff’s speeches. At the Pastoral Center, daily Mass was rescheduled until after his presentations to the joint session of Congress and the United Nations General Assembly.
