New communications director hits the ground running

El programa Gift of the Drummer esta viento en Popa preparándose para la Navidad

SALT LAKE CITY —Este año el programa ‘Gift for the Driommer’ de  Catholic Community Services’ servirá a cerca de 1,250 niños. El program será dividido en dos programas: uno para aquellos niños cuyas familias están registradas para los servicios Básicos en CCS Saint Vincent de Paul; el otro para niños refugiados cuyas familias vienen de otros países y también para los menores refugiados que llegaron solos y están en cuidados temporales.
El programa Gift of the Drummer provee con artículos tales como  abrigos, zapatos, calcetines, vestidos, y pantalones  a niños desde recién nacidos hasta los 17 años de edad  “lo que sea que las personas no pueden comprar”, dijo Dennis Kelsch, director de Necesidades Básicas de CCS.

SALT LAKE CITY — Cuando el Coro de la Catedral de la Magdalena comenzó sus presentaciones hace 25 años, ofrecieron un concierto en navidad y otro en primavera. A lo largo de los años, las presentaciones incrementaron y este Año el coro realizara 7 presentaciones entre las cuales está el tan popular servicio navideño y la ceremonia de villancicos.  >>>
