A few vital statistics point to the value of a Utah Catholic School education: 97 percent of students who graduate from Judge Memorial, Saint Joseph or Juan Diego Catholic high schools go on to college, receiving $22 million in scholarship money. As they mature and start families of their own, they also are more likely to become active members of their parish, studies show.

Saint Francis Xavier students are published authors

KEARNS — Saint Francis Xavier Regional School has some very proud students and blooming authors. Students at Saint Francis Xavier have been learning a great deal about the publishing process while improving their vocabulary and writing skills. The students in kindergarten through third grade have been busy writing class books. Each child helped to write and illustrate a full-color page for the collaborative books. The original manuscript of the class-authored volume has been hardbound by a children’s book publisher and made a wonderful addition to the classroom libraries.
