Long-time Knight continues to cook up a good life

TAYLORSVILLE – Chuck Farrell has been a fixture at Saint Martin de Porres Parish since the congregation began in 1982. He’s an altar server at daily Mass, an usher and greeter on Sunday and the cook for the Knights of Columbus fundraisers.

Diocese receives $270,000 grant over five years for Hispanic ministries

The Catholic Diocese of Salt Lake City was awarded a grant of $270,000 by the non-profit Catholic Extension Society. The funds will allow the diocese to create a lay ecclesial minister (LEM) formation program that will accommodate Spanish-speaking candidates who are seeking leadership roles in the Church. >>>
