The Intermountain Catholic took home three awards from the April 9 Utah Press Association Better Newspaper Contest awards dinner. The editorial staff of Marie Mischel, intern Rachael Sutherland (not shown), Gary Topping, Laura Vallejo and Christine Young took second place for Best Feature Series in Group III. In the same group, Vallejo took third place for Best Feature Photo and Mischel took third place for Best Feature Story. The editorial staff is shown with Msgr. Colin F.
