SALT LAKE CITY — Holy Cross Ministries Sister Mary Ann Pajakowski was named a Community Champion Winner during Molina Healthcare’s annual award ceremony to celebrate unsung heroes, as well as community, provider and government partners. Corinne Johnson, LCSW, HCM counseling director, received the Clinical Faculty of the Year Award; and Fernanda Martins-Nguyen received the Outstanding First Year Master of Social Work Student Award at the Spring Practicum Awards celebration at the University of Utah. >>>

SALT LAKE CITY — Reactions of surprise, words of encouragement and praise, and feelings of sadness were expressed throughout the Diocese of Salt Lake City after news broke April 27 that Pope Francis had named the Most. Rev. John C. Wester the new Archbishop of Santa Fe. 
Archbishop Wester’s brother priests, deacons, religious sisters, lay Catholics, religious leaders of other faiths and Gov. Gary Herbert’s Office all wished him well, but said they will miss him and pray for him.

One of my favorite parts of my ministry is being able to spend time with my peers at the young adult gatherings throughout the diocese. I love this part of my ministry because they inspire me with their open hearts, solid faith, and joy in being together as a Catholic community. >>>
