Youth become unified at World Youth Day in Sydney

CLEVELAND, Ohio — Father Walter A. Reindeau, S.S.S., age 85. Member of the Congregation of the Blessed Sacrament for 63 years and an ordained priest for 57 years. Beloved son of the late Walter and Leontine; dear brother of Jeanne Sisson and Teri Crane and the late William, Edward and Patricia Matte. Fr. Walter served as Vicar General and Procurator to the Holy See. He also served in numerous positions of leadership in the United States.

DRAPER — Members of St. John the Baptist Parish in Draper are spending 40 days walking in the footsteps of St. Paul. "As a community of missionaries we walk in the footsteps of the great apostle Paul," Karen Hurley, pastoral associate at the parish told parishioners Aug. 23 and 24. That missionary spirit will change the way the parish looks at their ministries and celebrate the Year of St. Paul.

RIVERTON — Sept. 13 was the perfect day for a school dedication. The cross of St. Andrew Elementary School thrust up into the clear, blue sky. More than 400 people – many of them students at the school – gathered for the dedication that began with the raising of the American flag and the singing of the "National Anthem."
