Interact service club raises funds for Esperanza

SALT LAKE CITY — Judge Memorial Catholic High School’s Interact Rotary-sponsored service club raised more than $8,000 for the southern Mexican state of Chiapas, which suffered great losses in the past few months due to heavy rain and dam failure. There have been 33 towns devastated, and aid is desperately needed.

They’re singing music that is very demanding, and people think these voices can’t possibly achieve this level of competence. There’s a magic about that."
