Some of them are good and others questionable, from directors John Ford, Leo McCarey and Frank Capra to publisher Henry Luce, who gave special coverage to Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen.

Knights celebrate with annual awards banquet

OGDEN —Many projects undertaken by the Knights of Columbus in Utah were highlighted at the annual state convention, held this year May 7-8 at the Marriott Hotel in Ogden. For example, Utah State Deputy Ray Lopez announced that, for the first time, each of the diocese’s seminarians is supported by at least two Knights of Columbus councils. The Knights also presented $10,000 to the Most Rev. John C. Wester, Bishop of Salt Lake City, for various programs.

Saint Joseph Elementary donates to Saint Martha's Baby Project

OGDEN — On April 7, students at Saint Joseph Catholic Elementary School collected hundreds of items to help support Saint Martha's Baby Project through Catholic Community Services. This was a wonderful opportunity for the students to give back and support their community. Students also participated in a prayer service, where they learned about "God's Creation." After the prayer service, students went outside to the park in front of the school for a "Park Cleanup Day" to give back.
